The Keynote Address will provide physicians with critical resources to help them understand how the legislative changes associated with healthcare reform will directly impact their practice of medicine – and what this means to success in today’s changing environment.
As the healthcare system in America continues to evolve, the heap of new regulatory and marketplace developments underscores the importance of the physician-patient relationship. Burdens of healthcare reform, reimbursement issues and physician shortages have led to high levels of physician burnout. The Physicians Foundation President Walker Ray, MD will share insights and resources to empower physicians to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient healthcare. Discover the impact of healthcare reform on physicians in the District of Columbia, uncover opportunities for physician innovation and learn about the role of poverty on healthcare costs.
