The following is one of two free-to-MSDC members 2-hour CME events, all about the power of nutrition for health. These events will take place over dinner at Maggiano’s in Chevy Chase. The first event is on November 21 and the second is on March 24.

The New Science of Nutrition: Tackling Obesity, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular Disease
(2 CME credits)
with Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, Vanita Rahman, MD, and Jasmol Sardana, MD
We will cover nutrition’s powerful role in tackling obesity and chronic diseases as well as reviewing the surprising applications of nutrition for cancer prevention, chronic pain, Thyroid Disease, and Alzheimer’s Disease. We are offering these events complimentary to you as an MSDC member. By attending these dinners, you are eligible to receive 2 CME credits at each event for a total of 4 credits, through our joint providership at the George Washington University. We will be serving a delicious four course meal and wine for you to enjoy while earning your credits.
All events take place at Maggiano's Little Italy, 5333 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015. Parking is available for $4.
